About Fermata Music Piano Studio
Fermata Music is a music school in Windsor, Ontario that offers piano and guitar lessons to children and adults. The students at Fermata Music have technical skill and accuracy as well as a passion for their chosen instrument. Each lesson is tailored to be age-appropriate and take into account each studentās individual learning style.
What to Expect
Every student attends weekly lessons on a specific day and time that is reserved for them every week. Students will not only be taught how to read and understand music, but they will also be taught how to perform both as a solo musician and as an accompanist to vocalists for our biannual recitals.

Logan is a great teacher, he is skilled, patient and always encourages me to do better. Even when I have other events that overlap with my piano classes, Logan always makes up time to reschedule classes for me. Overall, the environment is quite good.
Amazing music school my girls enjoy going to their classes
This is a great place to learn music, especially piano. My 9 year old granddaughter has been enrolled in the piano program for the past year and she absolutely loves it. Samantha is a wonderful teacher and creates a great atmosphere for learning. At Christmas Samantha had the students perform at a couple of nursing homes, which is a great experience for both the elderly and the students.
Samantha is the sweetest teacher ever š Sheās very kind and patient; she always takes the time to make sure youāre fixing mistakes in a way that prevents you from making them again, and always keeps the encouragement coming at you because she wholeheartedly believes in you and your skills! 10/10 experience over all 5 years Iāve been here, and I plan to stay! 100% recommend

Its a great studio. The teachers are professionals. They have patience and a good understanding of how to teach each person individually. Its a good place for both kids and adults. My 3 children learned so much in just one year with them. A special thanks to Logan!

Pro teachers
Logan explained things to me in a way that I understood. In one week i was already playing chords, reading sheet music, and playing one song. At my second lesson he showed me what the symbols were on sheet music and how to improve the song i learned, and his tips were very helpful. After that, my playing has improved and i am learning new songs before my next lesson. I am always excited to learn something new when i go. This studio employs professionals and i would highly recommend Fermata Music Studio.
Samantha has taught my son piano over the last 3 years and she is so patient and understanding. He has come a long way and wouldnāt have gotten to where heās at without her. She is great with the kids and I look forward to many years with her at Fermata!
Teaches music by learning to read the notes and not by memory. Giving a more understanding of the peice they are playing. Any teacher can get a student to memorize but to actually read and play the notes according to the metronome is a challenge itself. Both girls are far apart in skills but progress accordingly with challenges to keep them on their toes. Would recommend.

Samantha is a brilliant and patient teacher. Her technique suits all ages; my son began piano lessons with her when he was 4. She brings together her students, families, and community for our annual spring and christmas recitals that provide a space for students to showcase their hardwork. If you are thinking about enrolling yourself or your child in lessons, I would highly recommend Samantha at Fermata Music! She is affordable, flexible, and great at what she does!
